韩国首尔，2018年10月17日——根据韩国仁川国立大学主撰、绿色和平组织东亚分部共同设计的一项新研究，在全球范围内，超过90%的抽样食盐品牌被发现含有微塑料，其中数量最多的是来自亚洲的食盐

这项研究已经发表在《环境科学与技术》上，研究调查了全球范围内39个不同食盐品牌，结果表明微塑料污染在海盐中最高，其次是湖盐、岩盐。在被研究的39个食盐品牌中，仅有3个样品不含微塑料颗粒 。
